ZERO BOILER integrates waste heat recovery, heat pumps and thermal storage to provide cooling, heating and hot water.
The system recovers available waste heat first, then uses a heat pump to supply the remaining heat required.
1. Recover Available Heat
Heat exchangers recover heat from warm wastewater and suitable process streams to preheat incoming water or support other heating needs.
2. Supply the Remaining Heat
Heat pumps use available sources, such as outdoor air or water, to supply additional heat at the required temperature.
3. Store Thermal Energy
Hot water and chilled water storage help match energy production to demand and support stable operation during peak usage.
4. Connect Cooling and Heating
When cooling and hot water are needed at the same time, heat removed during cooling can be recovered for hot water production. Excess heat is released outdoors when necessary.
5. Integrate the System
Heat recovery, heat pumps and thermal storage are configured to suit each facility. Solar PV and battery energy storage systems (ESS) can also be connected.
By recovering and reusing heat, ZERO BOILER reduces the need for additional heating energy and helps reduce dependence on boilers.
